Plush Galore
Heyo, I died here again. lakjdffg
School's been insane, with animation projects and a lot of illustration work. I also got into sound design, so it's been fun producing my own... 'music' I guess. haha
I recently completed a storyboard job, and I'll soon be working on a comic for that storyboard's film. The director wants to take it to film festivals wherever his film gets accepted. I'm pretty stoked and happy that I got my foot in the door of the film industry.
Anyway, so, instead of spending free time drawing, I've been sewing plushies and sculpting figurines (I'll post those later). I've been working on plushies for over a year now, doing commissions and whatever comes to mind.
If you want to commission me for anything, feel free to contant me! eue <3 I'm also looking for more ideas of what to sew for upcoming art fairs too. Throw some ideas my way if you want!
For now, here's a few of what I've been working on in the past couple months!

Re: Plush Galore
These are pretty sweet! I love the Bulbasaur ones!
What film are you working on? Any chance we could get to see film/comic?

Re: Plush Galore
Thank you! :3
I'm not sure when/where this film will show up. They're shooting today, and the director has to submit the film to whatever festivals he chooses. His film is about five minutes long, and a small adaptation to the film Riders on the Storm. I know it'll be a few months if not more until the film will be completely done. He has a lot of post-production stuff he needs to work on.
Overall, it was an awesome experience. I guess I was good enough that he wants to refer me to other filmmakers who might need a storyboard artist down the road. It's all very exciting, and more experience, the better. <3

Re: Plush Galore
Rufff, D; We all start somewhere. I'd love to help people out with sewing if they want it!
@ifm- If I could just make comics for the rest of forever without any sidework like storyboards, that would be awesome. Being a MAHSLEMAN isn't bad 0: But seriously, draw draw draw.

Re: Plush Galore
I have a question~
Do you make the 'shapes' for your plushies individually and then sew them all together? Like, everything is stuffed and then you just attach everything one section at a time.

Re: Plush Galore
@Tom- I guess ;A; just too modest about it...
@Ruff-Yes xD I've been encouraged not to do that just to make it easier for myself, but I can't imagine how that would work.
It might help if I actually used patterns. haha

Re: Plush Galore
I tend to make my own patterns. It's kind of hard to find a decent pattern for making pokemon and stuff

Re: Plush Galore
myeah, thankfully a lot can be derived from just basic shapes that I just cut out.
I have the hardest time with the shape of like, dog heads. Any sort of head with dimension beyond just a circle/oval, I have to add parts to it. Luckily, I stitch it in a way where the seam is hard to see. ... I've had a lot of dumb luck with some of these. haha;;
Working on celebi todaaay
There's an artfair coming here in a couple weeks, and thought it might be a fun idea to try and sell some of this there, if anyone's looking for gifts for nerdly friends/family or something

Re: Plush Galore
Thank yoouuuuu *v*
I got done with a celebi yesterday. It's a prototype with plenty of inaccuracies, but if I was to ever make one again, I know what I need to do better.
