You've probably figured this out already, but you can easily kill polsvoice by hitting it with an arrow. It's cool because the arrow doesn't stop after it hits the polsvoice, meaning you can get multiple hits in with one arrow.

Pols Voice are annoying to beat without arrows. First time I played LoZ, I never even FOUND the Bow. I beat the bosses with my sword and bombs. XD
