I know, it was just a thought! I would never want them to do something like that anyway!

And i n the Oracle games you do swim like a God, either you get in Oracle of Ages the item from the 6th dungeon and literally be a mermaid (though my mother called it a "weird fish with a stick") and get the swimming ring and you swim a lot faster than you will ever do.

I think that in Link´s Adventure he doesn`t have to swim.

But, in the latest Zelda games, Link does swim... except in those two games. What about Link's Awakening? I've never played that game so I don't know.

. . . I was scared. Heck, I was 8 years old! Aparently, although only 8, I actually begged mum and dad for it well anyway I was horrible at it, and I could barley defeate the deku tree. Then, I deafeated that spider by pure luck. (I had like... half a heart left?) and I was like oh yeah! Then, I went to hyrule field, saved like a million times, went to bed and went on it the next day.

The game was like telling me I had to deafeate that stupid spider... again! I say I was a sucker to a major glitch. It must've been a glitch, or else how could it have done that to me? So I was scared and left it for about 2 years. Went on again then, defeated the spider, everything was good... until I came to dongo cavern thingy. I left the game for another year. Finally, came on at age 11 (had some more experience playing video games) and beat the game (okay... I'll admit, from time to time I used a strategy guide off the internet. Okay, I used it a lot.) but for me it was one of the greatest achievments in my life. It took me about 2 weeks, wait, maybe one week. I found Ganondorf easy actually.

So yeah... my first impressions were to be freaked out of the game

Eh, I got it when I was 9 or 10, I think.... I remember because I got it on my birthday, and it was a year and a half after it was released.

Okay.... I must be a wuss. Why couldn't I finish it at 8 or 9 years old??? wait... thats right, it was the stupid glitch that freaked me out for the rest of my game. Then, after I completed Oot, I learnt there were such things as glitches...

You were that scared? How cute ^^

But nevermind that, I was so scared (I was 10) of the bosses and mini-bosses that I threw the control to my brother, and he was younger, ironically the first boss I beat was Volvagia and with the master sword, making it harder.

Oh yeah, that guy freaked me out. I actually used a strategy guide to beat him... it didn't make my hands stop sweating, though.

But my greatest accomplishment in the game was DEFIANTLY beating that first boss. Recently, the only other game I'd actually played was diddy kong racing I'd had it for 3 years, and I was happy to play that and only that. The nintendo cost my mum and dad a packet, $450! stupid NewZealand prices.

When I first played OoT my 9-year-old mind thought that the whole game was to get to the deku tree. (never read the box or instructions btw)

Like.. back when I was 6. But meh. Now, gamecube prices are a 'low' $250. While you guys pay $100, check out what I'm paying! I pay $100 just to buy a game first hand, and then again all the good games cost 110-130 so yeah.
