Damnit, no, this fails. You set this up after there's a community. The TP section didn't have this for years after it was announced. We don't even know the general reaction to the game yet.

Well, there was like loads of people turning up on a regular basis before the idea of the TPC was born, never mind the announce thread (which yes, I know, was stolen from the OoTC).

You have to remember the TP Forum was originally called the Zelda 2005 forum, which was created in 2004. The Announce thread was created 3 whole years after that, and nearly half a year after the game's release.

Yeah, TP did it right. Chances are, though, that this isn't a shot at the TPC, but every subsequent attempt, including Deoxys' PH Community and Poptart's MM Community.
