Default Favorite Temple...Another Repeated Thread

Yes, yes,

I know this thread has been repeated many times as I don't know because I'm new to the forum(Yeah, Right?), but I need to know everyone's favorite TP Dungeon/Temple

My favorite was the Temple of Light, because It actually shows that this takes place AFTER OOT, and showing proof that in the game itself the forest was the place where the old Hyrule Market/Town was.

Also the boss was extremely easy, making it stupid at the end but it was creative.

All of the bosses in TP were extremely easy. So, I try not to include their difficulty in my opinion of their dungeons.

Anyway, I'd have to say that Lakebed was my favorite. Considering how easy TP was, Lakebed was fairly difficult, which was very good. Plus, I did like the boss.

EDIT: By the way, welcome to the forums, Nova.

Eh not really. Hyrule changes with every game. In A Link to the Past, the Master Sword was in a forest in the North-West most corner of Hyrule, In Ocarina of Time it was in an ancient Cathedral in Hyrule's capital city, and in Wind Waker it was in a (very elaborate!) basement of some castle-like structure. It wouldn't make sense for Hyrule's only city to completely disappear. Ditto that for the Royal Family's castle. But then again nothing Nintendo does makes sense so maybe.

I did like how they revisted the Temple of Time though.

But eh I don't really have a favourite temple. I guess I'm cool with any dungeon that isn't the Lake Bed Temple or that Yeti Manor.

I don't like any of the dungeons. They're too stressfull. I prefer roaming the fields and such. Doesn't really count But I like that hidden town, and when you go there it's all western-like.

Yes, the hidden village was extremely creative.

Though, they did a really nice job with all of the dungeons itself. THe bosses were creative but they should have made them a little harder. This game was rated T, not rated E.

Yeah, if TP were a bit harder (or a lot harder), I think it would've found a lot more success in the reviews.

Well, they did a very good job with the dungeons overall. Probably the best layed out themes in any Dungeon-based rpg.

Like I said, more difficulty means more fun(depends).

Exactly, the dungeons themselves were great, I think. Sometimes they seemed a tad straightforward though -- there were few times that I ever found myself with more than one small key -- but still fun, overall. A combat difficulty buffing would probably do wonders for that game.

The thing I loved about the Temple of Light is that it was extended. It showed the Temple as a whole itself. Allthough, going through the window to another part of the Temple was a BIT unrealistic, but great though. And I loved the fact how the place was infested with bugs. Gave me shivers.

i found the dungeon ideas kind of iffy

The mansion, for example, was a great idea but was stupidly annoying. I liked how it wasn't a generic temple filled with monsters.

The Goron Mines on the other hand were kind of dumb. It wasn't so much the mines themselves, but did they have to be sacred mines? It doesn't make sense for the extraction of geological materials to be spiritual, even for rock people. And if they were so sacred that only the Goron leaders (or just Gorons in general, I can't remember) could enter, then why were there Moblins inside?

I didn't really like the boss battles either. Seemed like they were reaching a lot on a few of them (Yetta, the Spider, Zant).

Not to be a negative nancy or anything, I really liked the game. Parts of it are annoying, is all.
