If you're going for bondage then you're not doing it right. You need to look up bondage and the outfits that go along with it. There wouldn't be fur or random metal things involved. Typical elements of bondage include leather and rope. It's minimal in terms of embellishments. You can have studs, but they're not supposed to be the focus of it, just an aesthetic addition.

Well, it's ceremonial. For a heretical cult. On top of that she's the Grand High Priestess of the Priory, so it kinda makes sense for her gear to look more over the top.
I will see if I can research the basic look a bit more, though.

The outfit doesn't even hint at bondage. Even if it's over the top, you can't call it anything more than some kind of weird "armor" lingerie hybrid. Lingerie does not mean bondage. Trust me.

Re: Ryu-Gi's Drawing Thread-2010 edition
If you want ceremonial, then it needs to be impractical sure, maybe with a ridiculous headdress and some chanting and virgin sacrifice - but if you want something she can legitimately fight in, unrealistically as it may perform, then you need to bump ceremonial, or have an outfit change. Hell, have the "armor" fall apart or something else in the oversexed cliche and have a simpler outfit underneath - if her body is the show, then the outfit doesn't need to speak as loud. Pick one.
P.S. Find a fancier name than bondage gear lol

I do like the idea of playing up the ceramonial part of it...
...also, perhaps "Holy Vestments of Carnal Servitude"?

Re: Ryu-Gi's Drawing Thread-2010 edition
Really dude? Really? That's what you want to call it? It's something that veils her quivering womanflesh from the throbbing piston of manhood that's going to catapult her into throes of ecstasy?

I dunno, I just threw a name out there. The original name for the outfit was "Heretic's Garb".

Re: Ryu-Gi's Drawing Thread-2010 edition
that's just as bad
tom's story is at least surreal in a wtf kind of way, you should go for that
like, she was raped by minotaurs or something in an effort to steal her soul, which would be forged into a sword that steals other souls and she needs to destroy the sword to get her soul back before the minotaurs become THE ONE
I don't know I'm out of ideas

Re: Ryu-Gi's Drawing Thread-2010 edition
How is it heretical?
ALSO. Once again I will throw a costume design at you. You want her to be some kind of bondage priestess? Then ****ing make her look like one.
These are the images I used for "inspiration"

There are better ways to make your outfits over the top without making it look completely ridiculous. Yes, it looks slightly silly, but when you make an outfit based on bondage and throw it in a fantasy setting, that's what it will look like.
Really, do some research before you just make up an outfit, otherwise you won't have anything other than satisfying your own sexual fantasy. try selling it to people, not to yourself.

Re: Ryu-Gi's Drawing Thread-2010 edition
One of my older design ideas that I came up with for Selene actually looked close to that...
That actually does bring up some new ideas, thanks.
