I'm thinking of adding whitelist creative mode. Just need to figure out what provides gamemode switching from signs.
EDIT: awesome, essentials added support for each player having their own in-game time. Oh, and @Iron Something, Those two addresses lead to the same server, but quantumripple is sometimes pointing somewhere else when my home router overwrites it. Whenever the wireless here goes down for a minute or two (as we don't have wired connections), the server will go down for a minute or so. Unscheduled downtime should never be more than a couple of hours, and scheduled will be posted on here.

The core gameplay hasn't changed too much since then, but there's been a bunch of endgame stuff added for the 1.0 release. You'll want to look at the wiki entries for brewing and enchanting, and probably The End as well.
The Nether's worth checking out again now, too.  It's got some new structures at long last.
