Re: Soul Calibur V Release party in San Francisco
I was playing IV yesterday, I don't have the game but my friend was all man I'm bored lets play an old game. And I picked Talim cause why wouldn't I, but I picked some custom I guess version in this big cloth cat costume. But the costume shattered? And I was in a bra? How does that shatter.

Re: Soul Calibur V Release party in San Francisco
It's because SCIV introduced "Armor Break". Basically the main characters will have bits and pieces of their armor/clothing break to represent taking major damage to either low/med/or high. Custom outfit parts however don't have alternate "Broken" states modeled, so they just completely break off. It's probably either Namco was too lazy to model new broken states for the parts, or it simply would have taken up too much space.
On the plus side, if your character has an afro under a hat, if their hat breaks, the afro hilariously puffs up.

Soul Calibur V-the reviews are in.
The game's out and the reviews are in. It's mostly positive.
Kotaku – YES
Electronic Theatre – 91%
NowGamer – 8.8/10
JustPushStart – 4.5/5
Gameinformer – 8.5
GamingNexus – B+
Eurogamer – 8/10
TheSixthAxis – 8/10
GameSpot – 7.5/10
IGN – 7.5/10

I'm getting this. When I have the funds, of course. In the meantime my neighbors will probably have it and I can play their copy when they're not using it.

Seriously. Cut that
out. Why do you have Thread-Making Disease? You have a Soul Calibur V thread, you
don't need three. Augh.

Re: Soul Calibur V Officially announced
Ok, I was not expecting this. I honestly thought the last DLC pack was the last one they were going to release, but Namco is continuing supporting the game via a patch coming soon, and there's more Custom Character DLC to come! Awesome!

It's a Japanese game. It HAS to have maid outfits and swimsuits. It's a requirement.
