Some fans have taken Miyamoto's words of "We're planning on getting it out by 2010" as a definite sign of the game being ready and out by the end of 2010. Unfortunately for us fans, Reggie in the latest Gametrailers TV episode stated that Nintendo "isn't committed" to getting Zelda out by 2010, and that we would have to wait and see if that date holds. He did state, however, there are 3 amazing games coming out in 2010 nonetheless, those being SMG 2, Metroid: Other M and Sin and Punishment 2.
One has to wonder though, if it's possible to launch in 2010, surely we'll be seeing a trailer at next years E3, or even earlier at GDC? One can only hope.
Miyamoto: Spirit Tracks will be challenging, Zelda Wii to use M+

Go Nintendo recently reported that Miyamoto went on record to say that Spirit Tracks will be fun, but will definitely be more challenging then Phantom Hourglass. Here's what Miyamoto had to say:
[Spirit Tracks] will be really fun. It's turning out to be rather challenging. Many of our Japanese customers were introduced to the Zelda series with Phantom Hourglass, and ST could prove to be kind of hard for them, but I thought we'd show them what Zelda is really made of this time around. So it's turning into quite a unique title. I've managed to gather quite a few creative team members for Zelda ST, so I'd like Zelda Wii to also enjoy creative development as much as possible.
He also went on to talk about Zelda Wii, confirming that Zelda Wii will definitely take advantage of Motion Plus. He said that MP will allow users to have a much more convenient targeting system. Here's the excerpt when talking about Zelda Wii:
About MotionPlus. We're implementing it so that players can feel like they themselves are holding the sword. In the previous Zelda (TP Wii) the targeting was based on the IR pointer. This time however, we'll be using MotionPlus for a variety of more convenient targeting systems that will allow for more pleasant gameplay.
Definitely sounds interesting! Stay tuned to Zelda Power for more information!
New Zelda Spirit Tracks trailer, screens and artwork!

After an extremely long period of no new Spirit Tracks media, Nintendo is finally opening the floodgates and letting the world see more of the upcoming Zelda title. The trailer shows off the initiating catalyst of the storyline, for example how Zelda and Link know each other, and how Link and a Phantom are now working with each other instead of against each other.
I've only just seen this trailer myself 20 minutes ago, and the hype meter for this game has definitely gone up. I can definitely see this game now being a respectable sequel to Phantom Hourglass, and potentially even beating Phantom Hourglass. View the trailer below, and hit the jump for brand new artwork, and a press release from Nintendo of America.
