This image has recently been posted on our forums, and appears to be a photo of the Zelda Wii artwork shown at the privately held Nintendo roundtable event two days ago at E3 (Click for larger image). The photo, sporting a Nintendo World Report watermark, is of very poor quality, but the image certainly looks like it matches the description of the Zelda Wii artwork given by the various people who were allowed to see it. Perhaps someone who was there could verify or deny this for us?
As you can see, the alleged Zelda Wii artwork shows an adult Link with his back to us, his head turned so we can see his face. Standing in front of him appears to be the mysterious blue-robed figured described by the gaming news outlets that saw the image.
Personally speaking, I'm a little torn on posting this! I'm glad to have the image, as I'm sure quite a few Zelda fans would be, but it's also upsetting that someone would blatently disregard Nintendo and Miyamoto's request for no photographs, especially in such an intimate setting.
Hopefully, Nintendo will be officially revealing more of this anticipated title in the near future. We'll keep you in the know as we get more information.

The much-anticipated next home console Zelda game became much more tangible today at the 2009 Electronic Entertainment Expo. While the game sadly did not make an appearance at Nintendo's E3 press conference, some reporters were allowed to participate in a special roundtable event with Shigeru Miyamoto where the game was discussed and a piece of artwork from the game was shown.
According to an article at 1Up.com, the artwork featured an adult Link, "barely visible through a broken wall. Although the picture only showed Link from behind, a short girl in a long robe stood in full view at Link's back. Wearing a crystal necklace and emanating a blue aura, she gave off an otherworldly look -- akin to Zora from Ocarina of Time."
Miyamoto also stated that the game was targeted for a 2010 release date, and that depending on the popularity of Wii Motion Plus, the game will either optionally use it, or possibly require the peripheral. The acclaimed game developer also mentioned having had wanted to show the game at this E3, but that the team developing it wanted to spend time developing the concept behind this latest title, rather than creating a demo for it. Miyamoto stated that the team has been working on trying various gameplay and dungeon designs for the title.
It was also revealed at the roundtable the the upcoming Zelda: Spirit Tracks will have a four-player mode in it.
Hopefully it will not be much longer before we learn more about and see more of both Zelda Wii and Zelda: Spirit Tracks. We'll be sure to bring you new information as soon as we hear it!
