Welcome to ZeldaPower.com!
We've got a whole ton of new Zelda: Phantom Hourglass screenshots up for you. You can take a look at them by clicking the Phantom Hourglass link to your left, or by clicking here. This game is certainly looking incredible! I'm very excited to play it. It will be released in Japan in just a few more weeks.
We also have four of GlitterBerri's amazing translated Zelda: Ocarina of Time staff interviews readded to our Features section. These interviews are packed with really interesting information about the development of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. For example, did you know that early in the game's development, Hyrule Castle was the only location in the game (sort of like Super Mario 64)? Or that the hit rate for fishing changes depending on weather and time of day? Or that the Lost Woods music originally had an orchestral arrangement? The Twilight Princess OST (Nintendo Power Release) has been readded to the Music section. It should all be up and ready for download now.
If you can't log in to your user account using the login menu to the right, it may be because of all that database trouble I caused a few weeks back. Give us some time to fix this problem. In the mean time, you should easily be able to log into your user account via the log in menu on the Forum.
And yes, I'm working on making new mini-icons for the menu links. |

At the Game Developer's Conference in San Francisco, a new Phantom Hourglass trailer was shown. This new trailer has all sorts of new environments, characters, boss fights, and music. Very enjoyable. And that "Boss POV Camera" is a pretty cool idea!

After I did the fantastic job of basically destroying ZeldaPower.com's database, our dear friend Kosovar actually managed to get a decently recent (November 20th, 2006) backup of the site up and running for all of you. This was absolutely tremendous of him, especially considering that we here at DePaul University are heading into the finals weeks soon, and there's a lot of demanding class work right now. So everyone thank him!! :)
And again, I'm so sorry for screwing the site up so badly. I've definately learned the value of always backing up data, and I'll try to be more responsible and careful from now on. I apologize deeply for all the lost news articles, forum posts, private messages, newly registered users, and other lost data. This site and its community mean so much to me and I feel terrible about having damaged them with this careless mistake. |
