The Wii sold an amazing 2.04 MILLION units while the DS Lite sold 1.57 MILLION!

This is over double the amount of Wiis sold this time last year. It's a shame that Twilight Princess hasn't picked up in sales as I'm sure there are people that will still enjoy the game despite being released two years ago.

Nintendo were rumored to announce some Zelda Wii news by the end of the year but it doesn't seem to be the case. I'm just waiting for the day when I get to play a brand new Zelda game on a HD Nintendo console.

With Kao away in Japan (which has made me a bit jelous to say the least) I thought I would just stop by and leave a little update.

It's been a bit of a tough year for me, but hopefully next year will improve! I'm still interested in the Zelda games, although my interest in the Wii has unfourtunatly dwiddled a bit since Nintendo only seems to be interested in casual games at the moment.

I hang my head in shame and can say I still have not beaten Twilight Princess and Phantom Hourglass! Well, I think I could beat Twilight Princess if I sit down for 5 hours and finish it off.. maybe over xmas.

As Kao said, its Ocarina of Times 10th Anniversary - although being from the UK it was released on 11th December 2008 so its birthday is in a couple of days. I still remember the day I got up early to go and get my pre-ordered copy and with joy tore the plastic off the box. Good times.
