Life and Times of Hyrule -This is Your Life! Pt. 2
- October 15 2008 -

It certainly has been a long time since there's been an update. Now to be sure I was supposed to have posted this article a few weeks back but never got around to it. Oh well, it's here now. In the second, and likely last, of the very short articles of 'This is Your Life!', I talk about our very favourite villain, Vaati. Although there were all kinds of other villains to talk about, I personally felt like he took top spot from the rest.

Looking through his very short life, Vaati is perhaps more interesting in his antics and biography than any other (save for Majora I suppose). Although I could have talked about several other things dealing with the Wind Sorcerer, I mainly covered the important parts.

Enjoy!

A new hope
- September 18 2008 -

So, just saw this on kotaku. This year Nintendo will be (though they usually don't) attending the tokyo gaming convention. This wasn't expected, and in Nintendo's own words, they will be "unveiling new products" which hopefully means games. And even more hopefully, a new zelda, or at least something for the core group at Nintendo. Soooo, everyone, cross your fingers, and hope that just maybe on October 4th, the day of the convention, we might actually get somethin from Nintendo worth getting excited about.

Life and Times of Hyrule - This is Your Life! Pt. 1
- September 01 2008 -

Here we are on Labour Day and I'm bringing you the spoils of my hard work and toil, a new article in The Life and Times of Hyrule. This is Your Life! Pt. 1 is the newest addition to the collection and features a small history on your favourite villain Ganondorf. However, the history isn't the most important part. That title goes to the point of the article, and its sequel in a week or so, of the Deaths of Link's main foes. This is another article inspired by my reading of posts on other forums I've browsed in my spare time, and these act as my responses in the most basic sense.

So make sure all you readers have a gander and see if you want to take a crack at the original version of the inspiration post. This may not be like the previous one in...your adjective of choice, but it should provide something worth your time nonetheless.

Enjoy!

Life and Times of Hyrule - Bloody Ties
- August 18 2008 -

Finally after a month and fifteen days I have brought you all the next installment of the Life and Times of Hyrule articles. In Bloody Ties, I expand upon the previous article, Sword and Shield, by covering some theories and some pieces of evidence that allow me to make certain claims about the blood ties and lines in the Zelda series. For those that are wondering, no, it's not all of them, specifically I'm still in the realm of the Wind Waker.

So make sure that all you readers check out the newest article and hopefully this time the next one will show up much much sooner! Enjoy Bloody Ties.

Bloody Ties

I'd also like to give out thanks to Last Hylian who gave me enough inspiration to write this article back when it should have been released, as well as giving great insight and discussions about the first half of Bloody Ties.

Hyrule Trivia -Season 3- Has Concluded
- August 11 2008 -

After 7 long weeks of grueling and unforgiving questions have finally gone by, our contestants in this year's Hyrule Trivia have proven themselves twice over with their extensive Zelda knowledge. This year saw the return of many members from the two previous Seasons as well as the Second Place Alpha from Season 1. In an upset our winner took the lead by just one point and also rose up past a 5 point difference between the two.

You can all check out the scoreboard with the final results in the links provided.

Hyrule Trivia's Season 3 winner is Alpha with 78 points! Coming in the Second Place slot is Nabeshin with 77 points and finally with 59 points, Dabombster took 3rd place. Congratulations to the three of you for helping make this Season far more enjoyable than the last.

This year I would like to thank all of you for participating in what was a very successful Season, with 25 members signing up we had at least 20 of them take up the challenge and ended with several still playing. I also give many thanks to both Deku Lord and Darth Citrus, the Hyrule Trivia Sages. Deku Lord provided all of our music questions (save the first one which was done by DC) as well as making the Scoreboard and soon to be the winning banners for our Top 3. So if any of you are sharpening pitchforks to act out your revenge on him for what he put you through, by all means do what's in your heart. :P

Make sure you all stop by next June to sign up for the next Season of Hyrule Trivia and take your chances at even more awesome prizes and showing off your Zelda knowledge. This is your Hyrule Trivia Host Zeldaeinstein signing off for the season. I hope to see you all taking part in Hyrule Trivia -Season 4-.

Now all of you shoo for 316 days while we make more questions.
