The Official Nintendo Magazine of Europe has just put out a new issue which features a Twilight Princess article that could reveal quite a bit about the intended release of the game.

According to the article, Twilight Princess will "finally arrive at the tail end of this year." This is the first official statement Nintendo has made regarding a late 2006 release date.

So, according to Nintendo, we could probably expect this game by late October or November of 2006. While some people may see this as being a big let down, it's actually a very good thing, in my opinion. It means we'll be getting a very polished game by its release date. Additionally, Zelda is one of the most prestigious game franchises ever, but when new games are released back to back, that prestige is worn down a little bit. A longer wait makes the game much more treasured and appreciated.
