Well, this was certainly a big news day for Twilight Princess!
At Nintendo's Press Confrence today, TP was shown off for the Wii. But I'm getting ahead of myself; TP will be released in two seperate flavors: one for Wii and one for GCN. TP will also be released as a launch title for Wii, though we still don't know a release date on the Wii outside of November, 2006.
So TP on Wii is actually pretty amazing. A little on-screen fairy shows up that represents where you are pointing with the remote. Many of Link's sword and shield moves can be executed with gestures from the Wii remote. A quick jab with the remote will cause Link to throw his shield up and knock enemies around.
The controller also can be used to execute fishing moves, as well as your boomerang and your bow and arrows. It was very impressive how accurate the moves were executed. Additionally, the Wii remote has a speaker built into it, so when you bring your arrow back in your bow, you hear the string become taught via remote speaker. When you let go, you hear the arrow fly away from your controller and then the sound transfers to the TV as the arrow flies away from you.

I'd also like to mention Phantom Hourglass which was shown again at the press confrence. It has been revealed is picks up where Wind Waker left off. Direct sequel. :)
