Today Nintendo revealed a great deal of information on the upcoming Zelda pack-in game for the Wii Zapper, Link's Crossbow Training. Information revealed included the game's logo, play modes, rating, and more.
Link's Crossbow Training brings the return of Twilight Princess' Link, who must use his crossbow to take down numerous targets and enemies in a variety of environments. Up to four players (turn-based gameplay) can play the game which features 27 different stages, each of which is played in one of three different play modes: Target Shooting, Defender, and Ranger.
Target Shooting levels features targets that the player must shoot which are stationary at first, but move in later levels. The player must shoot for the bullseye to earn the most points while trying to keep hitting targets without missing for combo points.
Defender levels have the player being stationary while hordes of enemies attack. The player can rotate the view by aiming towards the edge of the screen.
Ranger levels put the player in Link's shoes and let them move around and aim freely. The player will explore environments like enemy encampments and forests as they take out the targets.
Link's Crossbow Training has been rated "T" for "Teen" by the ESRB, and will be packed in with the Wii Zapper which is going on sale November 19th for $20. Click here for the game's full Key Information page.
