Monday, 08 May 2006
E3 is uppon us!!
Yes, that most blessed event that occurs just once a year is heating up... as we speak!

Nintendo's Press Confrence is tomorrow, May 9th, at 9:30am (Pacific). For many people, this press confrence will be the highlight of E3; Nintendo simply has so much to show!

Not only are there several important gamecube and gameboy advance games to show, but Nintendo promised that this press confrence will be an information blowout for Wii (the system formerly known as "Revolution") and the games for it.

With the Wii, we have been promised a launch lineup of games that will be one of the most impressive lineups we've seen. So you can expect TONS of games to be shown at the press confrence, and perhaps even more to be shown on the show floor on the 10th. Already Square Enix has shown us a brand new Dragon Quest game, as well as a graphically impressive and online-enabled new Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles title, both are for the Wii.

It's also going to be a very important event for the Nintendo DS which is always seeing more and more support. I am very excited to know about what sorts of games we'll be seeing on the DS! Square Enix promises the DS a new Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles titles that will be online enabled!

And of course.... there's The Legend of Zelda, the best series of games to ever grace the planet. Twilight Princess will again have a major presence at the show, with playable demos that will feature the Wolf Link gameplay. Also expect a TON of new info on that great new DS Zelda game, Phantom Hourglass!

Keep checking back here on the 9th (Tuesday) for all the coverage you could want of Nintendo's press confrence!
