The February 2010 issue of the Japanese gaming magazine Nintendo Dream came packaged with a 100-page Zelda art book, featuring artwork from the original Legend of Zelda all the way through Spirit Tracks. I'm happy to announce that we at ZeldaPower have the full book scanned and uploaded for your viewing pleasure!

Personally speaking, I would have liked the book to have a bit more artwork from the earliest Zelda titles (check our recent upload of the full Japanese Legend of Zelda instruction manual for some artwork that we didn't get in the North American manual), but the book nevertheless has a huge amount of Zelda artwork--some of which may even be somewhat unknown in North America (I didn't even know there was official artwork for Ocarina of Time's Ganon)! Please note that some of this artwork might be considered character spoilers, especially in the case of the Twilight Princess images.

one piece of art for the game that started the whole series? ONE?

I'm with you on that. They really skimped on the earliest Zelda games... and those games have some of the most beautiful artwork!
